Last but not least

This little guy is getting so big. He's my little love and he brings so much joy into my life. Sometimes Blake teases me cuz I hold him when he's asleep instead of putting him in his crib. As my time with just him grows closer to an end, I cherish the moments when I get to play with him and make him giggle without anyone else around. Motherhood is a huge job, but I've really tired to slow down to focus on this little guy. Maybe friendships have slipped. Maybe I'm not as social. Maybe I don't look as good. Maybe my house is messier. But I get to lay on the ground and make my little man giggle. His giggle is so great and he throws his head back as if to say, "oh mom, you are the funniest." I'll take it before he realizes I'm not at all. All the rest can wait.
E's playmate had his first birthday. Carter was so cute about the cake and keeping himself clean and then E came over and just grabbed a fistful. These two have such different personalities and I love seeing them grow together. I see so much Coco in Carter and so much Blake in E. So the next generation begins.

My mom let the grandkids live out their White trash fantasy and play in a blow up pool in the front yard at the party. Cousin Owen kept pushing E's face in the water and E would rub his eyes, spit out the water and keep going. Owen better watch out, theres a new brut on the block. He sure has such an adventurous spirit when it comes to water. Swings are a whole other story.
There it is. Three new posts. That should count for at least three weeks right?
